ONLY 60-ODD MINUTES LEFT!

Til TCM runs the finest Xmas movie ever!
CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT
I know, you've all seen it before . . . but you need to come back with me again, if you can, because there's not much more magical in the entire enchanted lands of Hollywood . .
Haven't you missed Uncle Felix' bottomless lunch basket? Norah's galloping Limerick brogue? That shimmering Xmas tree by the piano & the bay window? M'Accushla, the wandering cow? The basso profundo laughter of Alexander Yardley? Silver-tongued Jefferson Jones? Seaman Sinkewicz pushin' the Old Magoo? The Marie Antoinette statuette that finally dies without a guillotine?
It's a visit I look forward to every single year.
And I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Yeah! An then it was followed by "Bedtime for Sniffles." It really is Christmas.

I love that Sniffles Christmas cartoon. Some of the Sniffles cartoons don't really work, but the Christmas cartoon, and the one where Sniffles encounters the cats from a "Duffy's Tavern" situation are terrific.
