I have been thinking about Maureen of lately and her legendary acting career working with John Wayne, Tyrone Powers, and others - she always a true professional, a rare beauty, and most of all - one of the most Technicolor Actress around. Maureen O'Hara can hold her own with anyone including my favorite Rita Hayworth. I just watched How Green Was My Valley with my dear friend and she was brilliant as Angharad.

Now….let’s gladly celebrate the legacy that birthday gal Elsa Lanchester left in our world and think of her unforgettable marriage to Charles Laughton.

Mr. and Mrs. Laughton work together on Broadway in the 1931 production of "Payment Deferred".

I love the serious picture of Whit Bissell. I worked with him in Dakota Incident and traveled to and from location with him. He was Soooo nice and had a really cute sense of humor. So fun to know him a bit.
