I'm determined to make it to a show the next time they tour! They're on the short list of bands that I'd love to see live but, for whatever reason, never have.

I have a video I want to post but I don't remember the title of the song see if you can help.

The first line is something like "Just because you have a ring on your finger and think you cannot go out any more" Famous song, many recordings.

There is a particular vid of this song that is great.

I googled the quotes above but I did not get the title of the song.

Could the song possibly be the 1963 hit Wives and Lovers by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and recorded by Jack Jones? It has the lyric "Don't think because there's a ring on your finger, You needn't try anymore."
