Re: Memes
The generic word used to describe carbonated soft drinks varies by region. "Pop" or "soda" or "coke" are the most common. https://popvssoda.com/
The humour is that he is taking: "baking soda" as an instruction rather than a single specific ingredient and so is going to 'bake' some cans of 'soda'.

I got it right away. When I was a kid, we called it soda-pop.
We didn't drink that sort of beverage often, and it normally was Shasta.
Anyone remember Creme Soda? That's how Shasta spelled it.
Just like dinner versus supper, some called it soda and others called it pop.
Ben Matlock was from the south and called it pop.
It is still funny, even if Masha had to explain it.
There is a video from 1998 called "Twist To Open," from the Miller company.
Look for it if you want. The man sets the beer bottle on the table and starts dancing.

Nobody should be able to sing like that and dance around on top of it like that unless he is a bad seed. I don’t know much about seeds, mind you, but I know a bad one when I hear and see one. Elvis is bad through and through and we should have all of his records and video performances destroyed. If only for the sake of our children. Our poor innocent children.
