On bringatrailer.com (an online auction house geared primarily for high-end classic and collectible cars and motorcycles...I also spend a lot of my free time now days there as well) in the past year or so a couple of low-milage and well-kept Yugos hit the auction block, and surprisingly they hammered for around $8K each.

(...and perhaps unsurprisingly, they would garner a much higher than average number of posts in the comments section...most of course making fun of them)
My vehicle in question was a: Moskvitch 403. It was considered past its prime approx. ten years prior to my acquiring it.

I liked: bringatrailer.com very much when it was discussions of barn finds and restorations and only occasionally a sale. It lost its glory for me when it became primarily an auction site.

So, kind'a like this then...

Reminds me of our family's first "second car" (aka "my Mom's car") I remember as a very small tyke our family owned. An Anglia Ford of mid-'50s vintage. I think we may have previously touched upon this subject at sometime, as I recall. Probably in that old "That's a Nice Car" thread on the old TCM boards.

And re BaT...
This must've been before I discovered that site, and which was probably about 3-4 years ago now.

(...as its present format is all I've ever known)

'kinda' is appropriate word. The one you show has hood, trunk, roof and doors all the same color. It has a grille also.

Since only chickens are capable of 'laying' I'd say the dog isn't 'lying' (down) but squatting.

Has anyone else noticed brick & mortar stores are keeping their leftover holiday merchandise out all year?
Typically, they'd mark them down after the holiday to sell it off, then replenish the next year with new merchandise.

In the past decade or two, most box the leftovers up, store them at the closest warehouse and distribute back to the retail store to blend with new merchandise before the holiday.

I'm guessing because of 2020's "supply chain" issues, far less new merchandise is being made/shipped from China and stores are supplementing with old stuff just to fill empty shelves. I've seen Christmas/Halloween/Easter sections all year long in several stores.
