Well gang, today is Mrs. Dewey’s 50th birthday and we’re
really gonna have ourselves a mega wing-ding tonight! But
the party officially got going Wednesday night when Mrs. D
and I and four of our best buddies drove up to Mill Valley
and caught our favorite hipster AL KOOPER at the 142
Throckmorton Theater. Here he is this morning at the ever-
lovin’ Record Party for an encore, serenading my beautiful
wife Tracey with a hand-picked birthday bouquet…
“I Got A Woman” (You better believe it!)

“I Can’t Quit Her” (Why would I?)

“I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know” (That's right!)

Happy, happy birthday baby!

Ha, ha, the big Joke's on me.
In my haste to join the party, I failed to notice it was DJ Dewey's Lady Love who was celebrating a birthday!

(My OWN winsome wifey just made a deprecating remark about the attention span of overgrown little boys playing in online treehouses . . )
So listen, I went back in on the post & fixed the gender on the dedication, but . . Dewey, I just hope she doesn't think my selections for her look as totally LAME as I think they do . . . :x :x :x

With that in mind, here's my new theme for today:

And now a special message from Mrs. Dewey in her very own words…
Good morning everyone at the Record Party – I humbly, and
graciously thank you for your wonderful birthday wishes. The
Record Party serenade was one of the highlights of my birthday!
Chio, thanks for bringing Al Kooper back...and Ark, I LOVE Todd
Rundgren! DJ Mook, we’re all going to have to have dinner together
sometime. And Klonodike…you gave me the biggest laugh
of the day – my favorite kind of birthday present! Thanks again
Record Party DJ’s for helping me ring in my next half century!
A few dedications to you all (plus a special little one):

Hello my long lost friend,

Any knowledge of whether or not "The Traveling Wilburys" ever did any videos to accompany their excellent music? Thanks my friend.

As always,

Howdy Hollis---the Record Party welcomes you back to these
paltry haunts: time was you strolled in here on a fairly regular
basis, now we feel honored to just to see you when we do.
Tracey thanks you for your message! So…you mean these guys?

Thank you for clip #3 my friend! A bit of comic relief is always appreciated! I'll try my best to stop by more often. I promise!

A little Black Sabbath (w/ Ronnie James Dio & Vinnie Appice) to end our Sunday. I actually saw this show when it came to TX. My first rock concert in 15 years. These guys show no signs of being ready for the old folks home (although I wonder what the state of their hearing might be).

Hey there Dewey,

Lend some "credence" to my request for some Creedence? If anyone can, it's you my friend! Thanks in advance!

Thank you Dewey,

Saigon in 1970 and guess what was on Armed Forces Radio? You guessed it. Thanks for the day trip back to a land that time hasn't forgotten. You're the best!

Fondly and with much thanks,

Hollis
